Michal Yakir, PhD, RCHom, is a distinguished classical homeopath renowned for her expertise in women's health issues, boasting over 25 years of practice in the field. Formerly serving as the chair of the managing Committee of the Israeli Association for Classical Homeopathy, she now holds the esteemed position of editor for the association's professional magazine, "Homeopathic Times." Alongside her editorial duties, Yakir imparts her extensive knowledge as a homeopathy instructor at the "Vital" School for classical homeopathy in Tel Aviv. With academic roots in botany and a Ph.D. research in Homeopathy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Faculty of Medicine, Yakir's unique background has led her to pioneer the subject of the Order of plants in Homeopathy. About my guest:
Dr. Paul Theriault is a passionate advocate for natural medicine, was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Despite facing numerous health challenges in childhood, including frequent infections and behavioral struggles, he maintained a deep-seated desire to pursue a career in the healing arts. Inspired by his early exposure to holistic therapies and motivated by his personal healing journey, Dr. Theriault embarked on a path of education and exploration. After earning his undergraduate degree in biology and cultural anthropology from the University of Calgary, he pursued his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Emmalee is a fully trained classical, unicist homeopath (3190 hours +) with a background in social and environmental justice, and currently in the middle of acquiring a diploma in nursing (en français) in Sherbrooke, Québec. She started seeing homeopathy clients as an apprentice at the Montreal Institute of Classical Homeopathy while still in school, and did a two-week internship in Honduras with Homéopathes de Terres Sans Frontières. Since her internship in Honduras, she has added the HTSF complexes as supports for her clients along with their unicist remedy selections.
She specializes in helping chronically stressed adults to be free and enjoy their day to day life, as well as teaching parents to use homeopathy to help them and their children to resolve common complaints naturally while improving overall health.
HTSF-Canada's goal is to empower local communities with financial, logistical and knowledge capacity in integrated health care. HTSF-Canada therefore works primarily on the practical transfer of homeopathic knowledge in the perspective of sustainable development of developing regions and communities.
