Ep 471: Natural Remedies for Modern Diseases Part 2 - with Dr Robin Murphy
Dr. Robin Murphy brings more than four decades of clinical experience to this second part of his discussion on natural remedies and their use in diabetes and other health conditions. He talks about aloe vera, bitter melon, chia seeds, fenugreek, cinnamon, and saffron, including some of the ways these remedies have been prepared and used. He also shares interesting cases from his practice and explains why it is important to look at the whole person rather than focus only on the symptoms. A large part of the discussion focuses on saffron, including its traditional uses, possible benefits, how to recognize authentic saffron, and several memorable cases from his clinical experience.
