After retiring from practice in 2002, he established the Pitcairn Institute in Sedona, Arizona, dedicated to teaching and writing about natural health for pets. Dr. Pitcairn is renowned for his book "Natural Health for Dogs and Cats," now in its 4th edition, which is considered a leading resource in the field. He also offers educational opportunities such as the PIVH Professional Course in Veterinary Homeopathy.
